Our goal is for the Berkeley Unified School District to reopen schools for in-person instruction, to the maximum extent that public health officials permit, when they permit it (again).

JOIN US IN FIGHTING FOR BERKELEY STUDENTS!
We believe:
-
School is an essential right.
-
Students belong in school.
-
Science shows that schools can open safely.
-
School closure is increasing inequality and learning loss.
-
All students deserve the same access to education.
"We know now, we have these tools in our hands to prevent 90% of COVID transmissions with simply using masks universally and social distancing .There are very few schools that are not ready to open tomorrow."
DR. JEANNE NOBLE
DIRECTOR OF EMERGENCY COVID RESPONSE, UCSF

WHO WE ARE
We are part of a national movement of parents, health professionals, equity advocates and allies working to open public schools for the mental health and educational needs of our children.
As pre-K - 12 Berkeley Unified School District parents, we are advocating to open our schools for live in-person instruction as soon as possible.
EVENTS
We are currently planning a 1/13 sit-in supporting educational equity at Thousand Oaks elementary school,
and future actions locally and statewide in coalition with other parents groups seeking transparency and accountability for our kids.
Join our mailing list and stay on top of future events.
